Job opening:
Student assistant

Hi there! We’re Driversnote, a SaaS company based in the heart of the Copenhagen startup scene. We take pride in helping more than 450.000 users worldwide keep a mileage logbook. No one likes to do mileage documentation - so we try to remove this trivial work  and make our customers’ working life simpler while saving them time and money.

The opportunity

If you are an ambitious, flexible student looking to get hands-on experience in a tech start-up, this is a great learning opportunity as you move toward a career in the tech business.

We’re a small team of 11 people - full speed ahead building out our services across different countries. 6 of us are improving and expanding our product, two are working with customer service and two with marketing. All of us are running fast and could use an extra pair of hands to help us juggle important tasks.

We all have a lot of experience and we are prepared to train you, and allow you to follow your particular interests to the degree it can also fit with the teams need for your support.

The role

We’re looking for a part-time student assistant to support the team in various different tasks. The role does not involve any programming, but will require you to be comfortable with IT and prepared to learn many technical terms. We’d like you to come with a “can-do” spirit, eager to help with anything we might throw at you and be ready to see how a popular, growing SaaS business really works from the inside.

We imagine you’re studying an IT-related degree in or near Copenhagen, and we expect you have either completed your first year at your studies, or have at least some relevant experience from a previous job or study.

Working hours are 12-20 hours per week, with flexibility built in to account for exams and school holidays. The work will take place in our office in central Copenhagen right next to the new Metro station.

Danish language skills are not a requirement as our office language is English.

Typical work tasks:

  • Manual testing of our mobile app before each release.
  • Supporting our engineers with additional testing and monitoring.
  • Maybe helping our customer support by answering emails from our customers and shipping packages.
  • Maybe assist with marketing, user-research and more.

You must:

  • Be tech-savvy; curious and motivated to gain a deep understanding of how our product works - inside and out.
  • Be detail oriented and highly structured and good at familiarizing yourself with complex tasks.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English and have clear written communication skills.

It would be nice if you:

  • Have a driver’s license.
  • Have experience with testing software.
  • Have worked at a tech startup before.

We offer

  • Join a team of highly experienced entrepreneurs and tech people that help each other develop their skills and grow every day.
  • A relaxed work environment, in a flat hierarchy, with flexible work hours.
  • We’re located in the heart of Copenhagen, in Matrikel1, a great new co-working space, where you can network with other startups and meet cool people and fellow entrepreneurs.
  • Great lunch cooked by Matrikel1’s in-house chefs.
