Hi Wolt Courier Partner!
Track your trips easily with Driversnote to keep your mileage logs in order and calculate your mileage deduction for your taxes. Wolt couriers get a 20% discount on the Driversnote subscription, helping you create reports that meet SKAT’s requirements.
Track each trip manually
SKAT requires that you keep a record of your business kilometres and to keep it for tax assessment notice and a possible review. Your record should contain dates, distances and the various workplaces you drive to every day.
You can claim a tax deduction for all days where you drive more than work-related 24 kilometres.
Example
Let do a very simply example:
You leave your home address and drive to the first pickup place. This route is 12 kilometres. From here you go to the delivery address. This route is also 12 kilometers.
That’s the first 24 kilometres and all pick-ups and deliveries from this point and until the day is done and you’ve returned to your home address are eligible for tax deductions.
Official Danish mileage rates
On average, a Wolt Courier Partner in Denmark drives 50 km daily, so the tax deductions add up quickly.
Here are the official mileage rates from SKAT:
- 0-24 km: DKK 0 (no deduction)
- 25-120 km: DKK 2.23
- More than 120 km: DKK 1.12
The same rate applies whether you travel by car, bike, train or bus.
There are special cases that’ll give you higher deductions. Visit SKAT’s website and learn more about deduction for transportation between home and work.
